Mics for Missions

Recently the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of the United States of America prohibited the use of wireless microphones operating in the 700 MHz band (698-806 MHz). Churches and organizations were told to cease using these microphones by June 12, 2010 or face heavy fines. The FCC estimates that 25 percent of wireless microphones operate within the 700 MHz spectrum.

This FCC ban only applies to USA air space, which means these wireless microphone systems can be used in other countries. As a way of assisting our global churches, World Mission Broadcast and Nazarene Missions International partner to offer “Mics For Missions”. This one-year initiative will facilitate the donation of usable wireless microphone systems from the USA to be used in our churches around the world.

Below you will find a printable donation form and mailing label to ship your donated equipment. The equipment will be evaluated, cleaned, and shipped to serve a church overseas.
