The NazKidz General Convention will conclude on Saturday, June 27, 2009, with our biggest event, World Quiz. Over 2,000 young Nazarene quizzers will come together to display the impact the Word of God has had on their hearts and lives.

To qualify for NazKidz World Quiz:

The district:

1. Directors will utilize and follow the channels established by the general Children’s Quizzing office for qualification, registration, and information.
2. Will use unaltered district questions from the general Children’s Quizzing office (Request forms for questions will be sent in December 2008. Questions will be sent in January 2009.).
3. Directors will register and collect the non-refundable $30.00 registration fee for each qualifying quizzer (districts will register as a group, individual registrations will not be accepted).
4. Will register (everything to be entered online link will be provided) all qualifying quizzers. Registrations must be received in the Children’s Ministries International office by May 1, 2009 (no late registrations will be accepted).
5. Will send one district check for all fees to be received in the Children’s Ministries International office by May 15, 2009.

6. Will provide one scorekeeper per every 5 (or less) qualifying quizzers. Please keep in mind the quizzing level of your quizzers. For example:
        23 Blue Level Quizzers = 5 Blue Level Scorekeepers
        17 Red Level Quizzers = 4 Red Level Scorekeepers
   Scorekeepers can be parents, grandparents, coaches, church members, etc. Scorekeepers will be assigned to score in a district other than their own. Scorekeepers will not be required to have background checks. However, we are counting on you to vouch for the integrity of every scorekeeper.  

The quizzer:

1. Will qualify at the district quiz with a minimum score of 85% cumulative. 
   2 rounds:
        Red  (5 point system) 150 possible points. Must receive 125 points.
                (1 point system) 30 possible points. Must receive 25 points.
        Blue (5 point system) 200 possible points. Must receive 170 points.
                 (1 point system) 40 possible points. Must receive 34 points.
   If the district director chooses to have 3 or more rounds at the district quiz, quizzers may qualify from their 2 highest scoring rounds.
2. Will pay the non-refundable $30.00 registration fee (registration and fees due to district director. Registration will be as a district). Registration fee covers award, supplies, and t-shirt.
3. And the parents of the quizzer are responsible for providing housing, transportation, and meals.
